KAUST Associate Professor Jr-Hau He has received the Nano Energy Award 2019 from the Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was selected for his work on light-matter interaction, specifically photon management for light-harvesting devices and optoelectronics of 2D materials. He joined KAUST in 2014 and is a distinguished lecturer of IEEE and a fellow of multiple societies.
