Technology Innovation Institute's (TII) Directed Energy Research Center (DERC) in Abu Dhabi has launched the GCC region's first Laser-Matter Interaction (LMI) Laboratory. The LMI Lab, part of DERC's Laser, Photonics, and Optoelectronics Division, will investigate laser interactions with matter.
